Tim and I worked together at Kingston for a number of years, when I say worked together, he was my boss. Despite that we worked really well as a team, he shaped my future in the Met and was without doubt the finest senior officer I ever worked with. He eventually became a true and valued friend who encouraged and supported my promotion. Through Tim I met Tracey, spending sunny afternoons chatting in her immaculately manicured garden in Fetcham. She, relaxed and extremely engaging while I was at ease and comfortable in her presence. When Tim and Tracey moved down to Hayling Island I kept in touch and knew that they had both found their perfect retirement place. It was always obvious how much love they shared for each other. My wife Jackie and I were devastated by the sad news. We only have wonderful memories of Tim and Tracey's thoughtfulness and kindness.
